In the past couple of days we have experienced some incredible scenery, beautiful hills and mountains and lush forrests. It is all so amazingly green. We have also been reminded what it takes to sustain all that green... rain... rain... more rain and hail too. It was all very cool, but it sure reminded us that we are both sunshine people.
We have been reading in 1 Samuel and have been reminded of the importance of having Christ at the center of all we do in our homes. It brought back the images of our dedication service last week. May God bless our homes.
We had in the priviledge of staying with Dave and Lynnette Rodes. They pastor the Puyallup Nazarene Church. It quickly became clear that prayer is the foundation of all they are doing these days. We felt so honored that they opened their home, their lives and ministry to us. We were blessed through the time that we spent with them.
All is going well and God's presence is clearly felt.
Blessings for now!

Me personally, not a sunshine person. I like the rain.
Washington is beautiful...I like rain sometimes, but I need the sun too. It's fun to keep up with you when we're stuck here in lil ol' Bakersfield.
How wonderful for you to allow us to come along with you on your sabbatical! We are praying for you every day, and lifted you up in corporate prayer Thursday night. Oh -- and I love the rain, as long as I'm not driving in it. Take care, be safe, have a great time.
