Monday MorningWe actually got on the road this morning about 8:00 a.m. We have dreamed and planned for this time for months, but it has actually begun. We traveled 598 miles and are spending the night in Medford Oregon.
As I started the drive this morning Debie read aloud the book of Ruth for our devotions. We talked about how Ruth's heart had been captured by the vision of being a part of God's family as she faithfully cared for Naomi and gained the reputation of being a person of tremendous character. Wherever they were going, she was going... whatever they were doing, she was doing. She found a Kinsman Redeemer who gave her hope and a future. We were reminded that we have found the same thing in Jesus.
We saw some incredible scenery today including beautiful Mt. Shasta. We arrived safely and are looking forward to another great day tomorrow.

Beautiful mountain! And that's a long way to drive in one day... Glad too see your on your way with great anticipation.
